
With the Foxit PDF Reader, this category leader Adobe Reader gets high-quality competition. It is often used as an alternative to Adobe Acrobat Reader. However, when it comes to Ubuntu we already have Evince Document Viewer, yet if someone wants to use Foxit PDF Reader from Foxit Software specially developed to read PDF files then that is possible as well. If you want to read PDF documents, you have to install a PDF reader if it is not already available on your computer. You're obviously free to check out FoxIt if you want, but because FoxIt reader is GTK-based I'd recommend you stick with what you've got and keep on being awesome. If image quality matters to you and Evince is making you cringe you'll find that FoxIt is a great alternative PDF reader. Anti-aliased graphics are key to readability, not to mention aesthetics.
